The Frontier Friends came about after many years of my friend and I finally decided to get together to create a series of children's books. We had been kicking this idea around this idea since we were both in college, but never found the time to do it.
Almost twenty-years later two good friends staring down middle-agedness decided it was now or never.
Well, we did and here they are for your and your child's reading pleasure. These are the first three stories in a series of books we are currently creating (Jamey writes the stories and I a draw them) with three more sketched out in different stages completion.

Big feet are notoriously shy, Bobby is probably the most shy of all, making it very difficult to make friends.
But after an impromptu meeting with Felix the Fly he learns that it is not so difficult to make friends after all.
A trip to visit her Uncle Jerry the Jack-a-lope shows Jenny that being stingy is not
as much fun as sharing and that trust cannot be earned without a chance.
When confronted by his friends Pu discovers the importance of baths and something about himself he had forgotten.
Bobby The Bigfoot is the first book written in this trilogy. It deals with overcoming shyness and the willingness to open up yourself to making friends.
Jenny The Jackalope is the second story that deals with sharing with others. The reason Jamey and I wrote and
illustrated these three books at the same time is because we thought it would be a fun idea for the child who was
reading it to see how these stories intertwined with the other books.
Pu The Stinky Bear is the third and last book in this series. Some kids for whatever reason have an aversion
to bath time and Jamey thought it would be a fun story to do teaching that being clean is the way to be....
or you will be a very lonely bear, or person with a fly for a bestfriend.
